Special Use Areas are open spaces at UCSF designated for use by Registered Campus Organizations, student governments, and campus departments for non-commercial activities. Below you will find a list of possible areas you can reserve. If interested in reserving any such space, review the Special Use Area Guidelines & Procedures before submitting a request through 25Live at least one week before your event. If you are part of a RCO or student government, submit your request through OrgSync by submitting an Event Request.

The following Special Use Areas will be reservable as long as an adjacent classroom is reserved for an event.

The following Special Use Areas will now be managed by Campus Life Services for various social events.

- Koret Quad
- Medical Sciences Lobby

- Nursing Mezzanine Lounge
- Saunders Court
- The Plaza (between 3rd & 4th Streets)
